About the position

The Bulk New Business Development Specialist at Airgas, Inc. is responsible for targeting and qualifying new business opportunities using leads provided by the company. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to create effective marketing programs and penetrate accounts by identifying decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be highly organized, and possess experience with Salesforce or similar systems to maintain detailed database information.

Responsibilities

  • Target and qualify new and competitive business using leads from Airgas resources.
  • Connect with existing Bulk Specialists, District Managers, and Account Managers to generate market leads.
  • Engage and qualify each lead prior to involving local Bulk specialists.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal groups to develop successful marketing programs.
  • Utilize a selling system to identify required information and pain points.

Requirements

  • High-level experience in creating successful marketing programs.
  • Adept at penetrating accounts and identifying decision-makers.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar database systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the gas or chemical industry.
  • Familiarity with market research and analysis techniques.
