About the position

The Budtender at Mint Cannabis is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, educating them about medical cannabis and its uses, and assisting with product selection. This role requires a friendly and professional demeanor, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Budtender will also handle transactions, maintain a clean workspace, and support management with daily operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in, verify the status, and report patient allotment on POS system.
• Provide patients with education and information about medical cannabis and its uses.
• Assist patients with product selection in an efficient and timely manner.
• Process patient orders and payments utilizing POS software.
• Operate, maintain, and close cash till and deposit the end of daily earnings.
• Assist management staff with daily operational needs, including cross-training in other departments.
• Maintain a clean and professional environment for patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of medical terminology experience.
• 1 year of computer skills experience.
• Cash handling experience.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Valid Michigan driver's license/Identification.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the uses of medicinal cannabis and different methods of medicating.
• Knowledge of cannabis brands and products available on the Arizona market.
• General knowledge of cannabis product regulations, including dispensing procedures and patient transaction limits.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
