About The Position

We are a leader in the credit union industry seeking a dynamic Branch Sales Manager (also known as Branch Financial Sales & Service Manager) for our Evanston Branch. This role involves analyzing member financial needs, leading and motivating branch sales and service staff, and driving business development. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in leadership, sales, business development, and lending, with a strong ability to achieve assigned sales goals for the branch and department. The position focuses on consumer/personal deposit and loan applications, with an emphasis on new memberships and loans. Responsibilities include managing the new membership follow-up process, pending and completed lending applications, cross-sale ticket follow-ups, and outbound calling. Sales goals and incentives are tied to household and product penetration through cross-selling. Additionally, Branch Sales Managers are responsible for organizing and participating in community and Select Employee Group events, coordinating with Business Development and Marketing Departments to promote First Northern products and services, and strengthening relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze members' financial needs.

  • Follow up on Pending Lending Application Report.

  • Organize and participate in community and Select Employee Group events.
  • Coordinate with Business Development and Marketing Departments for community events.
  • Promote First Northern products and services through outside activities.
  • Work with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to strengthen relationships.
