About the position

The Branch Operations Manager at Turner Pest Control is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including team leadership, staffing, training, customer satisfaction, service delivery, and business development. This role is crucial for driving the success of the branch, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service across various business lines such as Commercial, Residential, Tree and Turf, or Special Services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee branch P&L and monitor financial performance to drive growth and meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Achieve targeted metrics including Revenue, EBITA, Customer NPS Survey Scores, customer retention, portfolio value, technician utilization, employee turnover, and technician accident rate.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage Field Supervisors and field service technicians to deliver exceptional service and meet operational goals.
  • Ensure service operations are effectively managed and that regulatory compliance, quality control, and safety standards are met.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales staff on sales forecasts and plans to drive branch performance.
  • Ensure the branch is aligned with the company business model and implements company initiatives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, providing clear direction and motivation to the branch team.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of Pest Control Industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of management experience managing a portfolio with Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership and leading teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Exceptional leadership with the ability to train, coach, and motivate.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with employees at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Commercial Pest Control, Termite, and/or Wildlife Control is highly preferred.
