About the position

The Branch Manager at Sunstate Equipment Co. is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including service and maintenance, inside sales, transportation and logistics, and employee management. This role emphasizes leadership, employee development, and operational efficiency, ensuring that the branch meets its business goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations including service & maintenance, inside sales, transportation & logistics, and employee-related items.
  • Hire, develop, lead, and empower employees to make better business decisions.
  • Efficiently prioritize workloads and manage shop personnel to ensure timely service repairs.
  • Assist in maintaining company standards within the branch and its equipment and fleet.
  • Prepare yearly business plans with the metro and regional Management Teams, forecasting revenues, expenses, fleet ROI and utilization, and overall branch growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in branch management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and employee development skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage personnel effectively.
  • Experience in preparing business plans and forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the equipment rental industry.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
