About the position

The Branch Employment Coordinator-Recruiter at Per Mar Security is responsible for leading the recruitment function for the branch, focusing on recruitment and onboarding while also handling employee relations, licensing, and various administrative duties. This in-person role requires interaction with both internal and external customers to maintain a positive work atmosphere and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment function for the branch, focusing on recruitment and onboarding.
  • Provide support for standard and special hiring events.
  • Assist management with employee relations issues.
  • Manage personnel files of branch employees.
  • Complete Change of Status Forms (COS).
  • Import new hires into WinTeam from Kwantek.
  • Track training requirements in collaboration with the Corporate Training and Development Manager.
  • Act as payroll backup to branch staff as needed.
  • Assist in the administration of drug and alcohol policies and tests.
  • Communicate corporate changes and updates to branch employees.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting respectfully with all customers and employees.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of recruitment experience in Employment Coordination is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in the Security Industry is preferred.
  • Basic working knowledge of Employment Law is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain Security Officer License as required by state laws.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and calculators.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
