About the position
The Branch Banking Client Consultant II role at Flagstar Bank is designed to provide exceptional client experiences by addressing concerns and offering detailed product information to meet clients' financial needs. This position emphasizes client management, retention, and collaboration with key bank partners to facilitate access to financial experts, while also engaging in lending and investment discussions.
Responsibilities
- Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, including outstanding deposits and loans.
- Actively seek and deliver appropriate client introductions to team members to achieve growth targets.
- Provide positive client experiences by assisting with account inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Deliver client engagement and education, meeting behavioral activity goals set by Retail Leadership.
- Execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and in compliance with regulations.
- Perform moderately complex special projects and additional duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) required.
- 4 - 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration preferred, but can be completed after job entry date.
- Ability to train and mentor others on products and platform procedures.
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies preferred.
