Responsibilities

  • Continuously educate oneself on books and the industry to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify key titles and communicate with the store team to tailor merchandise selection.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and create enticing displays.
  • Assist with events and community outreach efforts.
  • Adhere to company processes to protect assets and control expenses.
  • Provide urgent and caring assistance to customers and employees.
  • Model expected behaviors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Perform physical activities on the selling floor and in the café as needed.
