As an As a Boiler Operator (Maintenance Technician), your role, in the bigger picture, is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. The Industrial Boiler Operator (Maintenance Technician) plays a critical role within the Maintenance Team and supports a wide range of crucial systems and equipment. This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with air compressors, vacuum pumps, fire suppression systems, pumps, and cooling towers.
  • Complete projects outside the boiler room such as preventative and predictive maintenance techniques and equipment rebuilds/repairs.
  • Ensure continuous operations of steam boilers.
  • Perform water quality testing for boiler and infeed water.
  • Operate and troubleshoot utility, mechanical, and electrical systems with minimal production downtime and callbacks on equipment.
  • Complete additional boiler-related tasks as assigned including pipe fitting.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • MUST BE OPEN TO ANY SHIFT.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience with high pressure boilers or industrial maintenance in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.
  • Must possess a valid Boilers License or Stationary Engineer License.
