The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide direct patient care, including intake, evaluation, and treatment. This role involves overseeing the quality implementation of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) following guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). The BCBA will also be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new research-based guidelines for treatment, ensuring adherence to evidence-based models. This position requires a thorough knowledge of behavioral health services and demonstrated skills in leadership and program management. The BCBA will monitor quality and performance measures, ensure accurate data reporting, and implement relevant behavioral health codes and regulations. They will also participate in MercyCare initiatives, make recommendations for annual budget planning, and provide feedback for process improvement to enhance clinic operations. Additionally, the BCBA will interview, supervise, and evaluate program/treatment staff, maintain effective staffing levels, and coordinate activities for efficient workflow. They will develop and facilitate department in-services, gather and evaluate data, and revise policies and procedures. The BCBA will perform audits to review partner performance, track work volume and patient flow, and coordinate functions within their work group. They will also conduct investigations of Service Recoveries and communicate with the Director when necessary. This role involves staying updated on new government billing regulations, managed care contracts, and industry publications.
