About the position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Echoing Minds ABA plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality ABA services both in-home and in-school. This position involves conducting assessments, creating and managing behavioral programs, training caregivers, and supervising paraprofessionals, all aimed at fostering the development of functional skills in clients. The BCBA will also utilize advanced data management tools to track client progress and ensure effective treatment delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing in-home client assessments to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Create, manage, and evaluate programs designed to address behavioral excesses and deficits.
  • Oversee and fine-tune ABA programs, regularly assessing their performance and making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide valuable ABA training to parents and other caregivers.
  • Guide and supervise paraprofessionals to ensure the delivery of top-notch care.
  • Manage electronic data on client progress using the Catalyst program.
  • Embrace additional duties as needed to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Current BCBA and LBA certifications with at least 1 year of hands-on, home-based ABA experience.
  • Master's Degree in ABA or a related field such as Special Education or Child Psychology.
  • Proficiency in conducting and interpreting clinical assessments like VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLLS, ADOS-2.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and sound judgment in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to train and supervise paraprofessionals in delivering 1:1 ABA services.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with parents and caregivers.
  • Respect for cultural diversity and adaptability in ABA procedures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Willingness to accept supervision and guidance.
