About the position

RISE for Autism is seeking talented and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality care to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The role involves overseeing clinical aspects of treatment, including assessment, treatment plan development, and collaboration with caregivers and behavioral technicians. The position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, offering a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ABA programs implementation and service delivery
  • Provide parent training and support as outlined in the ABA treatment plan
  • Conduct behavioral and skills assessments and design treatment programs for clients
  • Maintain client dignity, ethical treatment, and confidentiality
  • Understand behavioral and crisis situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
  • Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff, outside professionals, and caregivers
  • Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Modify treatment plans and programs as needed based on data-driven decisions
  • Create programs and behavior intervention plans
  • Train and supervise RBTs in the delivery of 1:1 ABA services
  • Manage electronic data regarding the client's progress using Rethink
  • Respect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to that diversity
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to therapists

Requirements

  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Current license to practice in the state of Maryland
  • Completion of BCBA supervision training
  • Experience supervising implementation of ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs
  • Experience working in and developing center, home, and community based ABA programs
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs
  • Experience with conducting parent training as outlined in the ABA treatment plan
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
