About The Position

As a Genius at Scharmach Automotive Group, you will serve as the dealership's product expert, helping customers and sales team members understand the advanced features and technology of BMW and/or MINI vehicles. Your primary goal is to provide an exceptional customer experience by sharing your extensive knowledge of the brand, assisting with vehicle demonstrations, and supporting the sales process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service is a plus.
  • Passion for the BMW and MINI brands, with a deep interest in automotive technology and luxury vehicles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with technology, including vehicle systems and dealership management software.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers, answering questions about BMW and/or MINI vehicles, including their features, specifications, and technology.
  • Conduct personalized vehicle demonstrations to showcase advanced features, such as infotainment systems, driver assistance technology, and performance capabilities.
  • Assist customers in understanding and setting up vehicle functions during the sales process and post-delivery.
  • Support the sales team by providing in-depth product knowledge and helping to match customers with the ideal vehicle for their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest BMW and/or MINI models, features, and brand innovations.
  • Provide follow-up support to customers after delivery, ensuring they are confident in using their vehicle’s features.
  • Organize and participate in dealership events, such as launch parties or customer appreciation events, to promote the BMW and/or MINI brands.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to address customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional environment in the showroom.
