About The Position

ImpactLife is seeking a Supervisor, Inventory & Management Distribution (IMD) to join their team. The IMD department is responsible for the coordination, distribution, and delivery of biologic products to clients. The IMD Supervisor will oversee daily operations, communicate with partner hospitals regarding inventory and patient needs, perform inventory reconciliation, manage product distribution, and ensure quality standards are met. This is a full-time position with a work schedule generally Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, with on-call duties and coverage on 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends as needed. ImpactLife is a recognized leader in the blood center industry, providing lifesaving blood products to over 120 hospitals and emergency medical service providers across a four-state region. Requirements

  • High school competencies plus an additional 2 years of formal preparation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or inventory management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory/management role is preferred.
  • Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management/hospital customer relations/logistics is preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff (paid and volunteer).
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to operate Blood Center vehicles.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, and maintain regular and reoccurring physical exertion such as reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Pre-employment drug screen, background check and MVR report are required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the support of department and MVRBC initiatives.
  • Oversee assigned staff including counseling, scheduling, and payroll duties.
  • Troubleshoot to resolve issues within compliance of SOPs, including logistics and delivery of optimal customer service.
  • Participate in preparation of departmental budget and benchmarking.
  • Monitor departmental and customer inventory management.
  • Validate processes and equipment.
  • Develop and oversee departmental training.
