About the position

The Blockchain Project Manager, also known as The Distributed Systems Leader, is responsible for managing and delivering innovative blockchain projects that transform industries. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects align with strategic goals while adhering to compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage blockchain projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Work closely with blockchain developers, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, monitoring progress and managing risks.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and preparing detailed reports.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Ensure that all blockchain projects comply with industry regulations and security best practices.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in blockchain technology and spearhead innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, including decentralized systems, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and tokenization.
• Proven experience in managing projects using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams, communicating complex blockchain concepts clearly.
• Strong experience managing project budgets and resources, balancing financial constraints with project goals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Scrum Master are a plus.
• Experience working with blockchain development tools and platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda is highly desirable.
