About The Position

Manufacturing Biotechnologist (Night Shift - 2K Upstream) Location: Portsmouth, NH, USA. Join our specialized 2K Upstream team on the night shift, where you will play a vital role in the initial stages of drug substance manufacturing, ensuring healthy cell cultures and adherence to GMP regulations. What you will do Upstream Operations: Set up and operate 2,000-liter bioreactors and support equipment to facilitate mammalian cell growth. Cell Culture Monitoring: Perform precise inoculation, sampling, and monitoring of cell health to ensure production stays on track. Clean & Sterile Maintenance: Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) procedures to maintain the highest standards of sterility. Documentation: Record all production activities in real-time using electronic and paper-based systems (GDP). Material Movement: Coordinate the transfer of raw materials and chemicals required for the night's production run. Team Collaboration: Participate in shift handovers and coordinate with the 2k team to ensure seamless 24/7 operation. What we are looking for Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related discipline is a plus. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a regulated environment is preferred, but we are open to candidates without prior experience and with a strong work ethic. Reliability: Ability to work a consistent 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM rotational schedule. Detail-Oriented: A commitment to following strict instructions and safety protocols to ensure product quality. Requirements
