About the position
The Bioprocess DBS Leader for the Cell Culture Business Unit at Cytiva is responsible for leading the implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) to achieve key performance targets. This role involves partnering with the leadership team to drive sustainable results through effective deployment of DBS tools and processes, ensuring alignment with the business unit's strategy and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Drive tangible improvement in Core Value Drivers (CVDs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the Cell Culture Business Unit leadership team.
- Ensure impactful kaizen events by managing the kaizen process, including planning, execution, and sustainment.
- Identify gaps in DBS capability and manage the Certified Practitioner funnel for the Cell Culture Business Unit.
- Own the monthly BU L2 PD Ops meetings, including scheduling, agenda, and communication.
- Architect results through the deployment of STRAT Enablement and DBS Functional Engines.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Science, Strategic Management, Project Management, or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience with demonstrated success in driving results with DBS.
- Ability to assess key business metrics from a general manager's perspective.
- Direct experience in technology, product management, strategy, and business development.
Nice-to-haves
- Commitment to DBS Fundamentals, holding a CP or ACP in VSM, TPI, PSP, and Daily Management.
