Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, installation, calibration, and fabrication duties on specialized biomedical equipment and systems.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology, or completion of the Department of Defense Biomedical Equipment Technician training program, or two years training as a biomedical or electronic technician, or certification as a Biomedical Electronic Technician (CBMET) by AAMI.
- Five years of work experience with mechanical or electrical devices, including at least two years as a Biomedical Technician, preferably in a comparable organization.
- Experience as a lead person or practice in an area of specialized equipment.
