About The Position

As a BIM Detailer at Granger, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing projects to life through digital modeling and coordination. You’ll spend most of your time building and refining BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems while supporting coordination efforts across project teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, technical work and wants to grow into a broader VDC or coordination-focused career path.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of construction, building systems, or MEP disciplines
• Experience or exposure to BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• Internship or hands-on BIM modeling experience
• Exposure to construction coordination or clash detection
• Interest in growing into VDC, coordination, or leadership roles
• Curiosity around new technology and digital construction tools

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining high-quality BIM models for MEP systems
• Supporting clash detection and coordination workflows across project teams
• Producing construction documents and model-based drawings
• Generating schedules, quantities, and other model-driven data
• Assisting with design development and project collaboration
• Troubleshooting modeling challenges and identifying solutions
• Contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes and tools
