About the position

As a Bilingual Spanish Call Center Representative/Debt Counselor at ConServe, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting on delinquent accounts through a consultative approach. This position is designed for individuals who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist consumers in identifying the best solutions to resolve their financial obligations while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. You will be expected to make between 125-200 phone calls daily, working either in a call center or remote environment, and meet specific performance objectives set by management. In this role, you will obtain information from consumers to assess their current financial situations and provide tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for gathering necessary documentation, maintaining follow-up, and ensuring proper record management. Adherence to ConServe's Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program is essential. The position requires a commitment to fostering financial freedom and helping clients regain control over their financial situations. Responsibilities

  • Obtain information from consumers to determine their current financial situation and identify solutions.
  • Provide solutions to consumers to help them resolve their obligations either administratively or voluntarily.
  • Gather proper documentation from consumers and maintain appropriate follow-up.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals as set by management at ConServe.
  • Make between 125-200 phone calls per day in a call center or remote work environment.
  • Achieve ConServe's monthly targeted performance objectives for collections.
  • Maintain proper management and updating of the system to maximize contacts.
  • Assist in locating and contacting consumers or businesses through skip-tracing.
  • Adhere to ConServe's Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts consisting of three days starting between 7:00 am CST and 9:30 am CST and ending between 5:00 pm CST and 6:30 pm CST, with two evenings from Noon CST to 9:00 pm CST.
  • Willingness to work an occasional Saturday morning shift (optional).
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to proficiently read and write in both languages preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, persuade, negotiate, and obtain resolution.
  • Intermediate computer skills to document calls and navigate software packages, databases, and the internet.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to act independently to resolve problems and a motivation to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and maintain confidentiality and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance and State Collections Licensure.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States with no conflicts of interest with ConServe or its clients.
