About the position

The Bilingual Real Estate Paralegal (Spanish) at Carrasco Quintana Law LLC is responsible for supporting attorneys in managing real estate transactions from initial intake to final closing. This role involves essential administrative tasks, client interactions, and requires a strong understanding of real estate processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and organize real estate documents, correspondence, reports, and other legal materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
  • Draft, revise, and edit letters, closing documents, and other materials necessary for real estate transactions; collect and analyze supporting information.
  • Assist with the client intake process, entering and updating client information in the firm's case management system.
  • Manage attorney calendars by scheduling meetings, teleconferences, virtual appointments, and tracking critical dates for transactions and client follow-ups.
  • Act as a liaison for the attorney by communicating with clients, obtaining necessary information, and handling delegated tasks.
  • Update and maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy access and secure document retention.
  • Protect client confidentiality by securely handling sensitive information and complying with confidentiality protocols.
  • Produce, format, and manage text, data, and graphics as needed by transcribing, editing, retrieving, and transmitting information.
  • Assist with firm networking and event planning activities as directed by the principal attorney and administrative team.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Notary certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a legal or real estate environment is highly desirable.
