About the position

The Bilingual Outpatient Therapist (Spanish) at ColumbiaCare Services is responsible for providing clinical services to individuals experiencing crisis. This role involves conducting provisional assessments, offering clinical oversight, and liaising with community providers. The therapist will also receive crisis de-escalation training and may participate in a supervision toward licensure program after a successful introductory period. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, focusing on mental health treatment and support.

Responsibilities

• Perform provisional assessments for individuals in crisis.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff.
• Liaise with other community providers.
• Participate in crisis de-escalation training and apply techniques as needed.
• Develop treatment plans and provide outpatient therapy and case management.
• Assist in the registration process for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) status.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting is preferred.
• Must be eligible for QMHP registration.
• Unlicensed therapists must be actively seeking or willing to obtain licensure.
• Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
