About the position
The Bilingual Intake Specialist is responsible for welcoming patients to the facility, managing admissions paperwork, verifying insurance coverage, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient inquiries and concerns. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth intake process for patients, particularly in a bilingual context, as it requires proficiency in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the facility
- Complete all admissions paperwork and enter it digitally
- Verify medical insurance coverage and benefits for each patient
- Schedule appointments for consultations, tests and procedures
- Answer phone and email inquiries
- Address any patient complaints or concerns
- Perform clerical work such as filing, copying and faxing
Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- Bilingual in Spanish
- 1 year of experience in intake (preferred)
