About the position
Kaeser Compressors, Inc. is seeking a Bi-Lingual Copywriter for our Fredericksburg, VA location. The selected candidate will be responsible for translating a variety of Kaeser Kompressoren's German language marketing materials to create materials suitable for Kaeser's North American English speaking audience. This includes product literature, website texts, and Kaeser Report articles. The candidate will work with US subject matter experts as needed to understand and rephrase key concepts from original documents. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Company's quality and environmental system, and will perform all other duties assigned by the Manager.
Responsibilities
- Translate German language marketing materials to English for North American audience.
- Source materials including product literature, website texts, and Kaeser Report articles.
- Collaborate with US subject matter experts to understand and rephrase key concepts.
- Learn and follow all applicable procedures and work instructions related to quality and environmental systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Experience in written translation.
- Speaks English at an idiomatic level.
- Experience in marketing communications is a plus.
- Good communication skills and phone skills required.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Regular physical attendance at the worksite.
