About the position

The position involves working closely with the Site Administrator and/or head coach to plan, organize, and supervise practices. Responsibilities include teaching and developing skills, providing constructive feedback, developing and implementing game strategy and position assignments, preparing for competitions, motivating athletes, and fostering sportsmanship and leadership in student-athletes. The role also requires effective communication with parents and school administration, adherence to CIF/NCS rules and guidelines, and assisting with administrative tasks related to the program as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Application Resume
  • Professional Reference related to sport
  • Fingerprint and TB Clearance are required
  • Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC) if not already possessed
  • Completion of mandatory training courses

  • Clearance to coach for Benicia Unified School District includes a BUSD fingerprint fee, a California Teaching Commission fingerprint fee, and an ASCC fee, all paid by the applicant
