About the position

The Benefits System Analyst at Foundation Risk Partners plays a crucial role in the implementation, support, and renewal of Employer and Participant Support Service offerings. This position collaborates closely with the Client Engagement Manager to ensure timely execution of deliverables, system setup, ongoing maintenance, testing, and reporting for Client Solutions related to benefits administration. The Analyst is responsible for data quality, compliance with regulations, and addressing any issues that may arise during the implementation process.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain Client Solutions Products, including Benefits Administration System.
  • Ensure all documentation for installing BenAdmin platforms is up to date.
  • Identify and resolve issues with minimal guidance.
  • Create and execute test scripts to ensure error-free deliverables.
  • Facilitate meetings with the Client Engagement Manager to secure missing information during implementation and renewal.
  • Acquire data from various sources to maintain the BenAdmin system.
  • Utilize technology tools to manipulate data for BenAdmin portals and billing reconciliation.
  • Analyze and validate data for completeness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Investigate data quality issues and develop recommendations for resolution.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement data quality solutions.
  • Evaluate and identify necessary system enhancements.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets.
  • Work closely with leadership to prioritize business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in health and welfare benefits administration.
  • Experience in brokerage dealing with clients with 100 or more employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Solid knowledge in HRO/Benefits Administration.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data administration skills, including pivot tables and data conversion.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Quality assurance and technology skills related to the industry.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals is preferred.
