About the position

The Benefits Administrative Assistant will support the NH EDI team and VT sales team by ensuring the smooth operation of benefits programs and assisting with sales efforts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage administrative tasks effectively while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data mapping and testing of new EDI transactions
  • Resolve EDI errors and discrepancies
  • Generate and analyze EDI reports
  • Create sales presentations and marketing materials
  • Update customer information in Salesforce
  • Assist with quoting and proposal development
  • Manage employee benefit records and documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and insurance carriers
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and clients

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in the employee benefits industry
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database management systems
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits plans and regulations
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
