About the position

The Behavioral Health Therapist at Allwell Behavioral Health Services is responsible for providing direct and indirect clinical services to clients, ensuring compliance with documentation and quality standards. The role includes community education, agency consultation, and emergency services, while maintaining a focus on client well-being and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect clinical services to clients.
• Maintain 100% of required billable service hours as documented on monthly productivity reports.
• Provide counseling services professionally and with concern for clients' well-being.
• Respond to telephone and personal inquiries within 24 hours.
• Address emergencies and crises reported during business hours within one hour.
• Respond to routine appointments within fifteen minutes of the scheduled time.
• Complete all clinical documentation within the time frame allotted by Allwell policy and procedures.
• Comply with Allwell record-keeping policies as observed by the Quality Improvement/Peer Review committee.
• Return all paper clinical records to the central filing area at the end of each business day.
• Provide consultation, community education, and in-service training as needed.
• Attend Allwell clinical and administrative staff meetings and trainings as directed.
• Obtain and maintain professional licensure as required by Allwell and the State of Ohio.
• Respond to any other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Master's degree and Ohio licensure as an LSW or LPC.
• Two years' experience in clinical practice preferred.
• Must maintain license eligibility via approved CEU requirements.
• Ability to exercise analysis and judgment in discriminating among many alternatives.
• Ability to monitor a complex process and oversee day-to-day operations of own caseload under director's supervision.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
