About the position
The Behavior Technician position at Maxim Healthcare Services involves providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
- Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
- Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
- Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention.
- Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
Requirements
- Passion for working with children with special needs.
- Strong communication skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred.
- Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Computer proficiency required.
