The Behavior Support Specialist at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health plays a crucial role in providing behavior management support to children and adolescents in a school setting. Responsibilities
- Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting.
- Carry out specific interventions developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Transfer skills to individuals' natural support in the least restrictive environment.
- Support teachers in managing student behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible required.
- At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred.
