About the position

The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Autism Learning Partners is a full-time role focused on providing clinical excellence in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with autism and related disorders. The position offers a clear career growth plan, mentorship, and the opportunity to work within a supportive network of BCBAs. The role involves conducting assessments, developing and adjusting ABA programs, and providing supervision to behavior technicians, with a flexible work schedule that includes both in-person and telehealth sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and run ABA programs.
  • Develop new programs and perform ongoing adjustments to current programs as needed.
  • Provide field supervision to behavior technicians as required for cases.
  • Support staff in meeting productivity requirements.
  • Write performance evaluations for behavior technicians.
  • Be available to parents & behavior technicians by phone during emergencies or urgent needs.
  • Produce progress reports and treatment plans to meet regulatory agency requirements.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and other meetings as requested.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related program.
  • Active BCBA Certification required.
  • Active LBA certification issued by the state of Virginia.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with various software solutions for data collection, programming, and report writing tasks.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/VZV during onboarding.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CPT coding.
  • Familiarity with electronic data collection systems.
