About the position
As a Behavior Analyst at Active Steps, you will be integral in providing behavioral health services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This hybrid role allows for flexibility in work location while focusing on developing and implementing tailored treatment plans. You will collaborate with clinical teams and mentor BCBA candidates, ensuring high-quality interventions and support for children with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and verbal behavior assessments.
- Design and oversee the implementation of individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to provide cohesive and effective interventions.
- Supervise and mentor BCBA candidates.
Requirements
- Master's/Doctorate degree in Psychology or related field with BCBA certification.
- Training and certification under the Behavior Analysis Certification Program (BACB) for Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Deep understanding of ABA principles and ethical standards.
- Proven experience in 1:1 educational settings and managing data-driven programs.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor future BCBAs.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills.
