The Junior Jays Kids Care position involves working part-time in elementary schools to provide before and after school care for children. Responsibilities
- Greet families and children daily to establish positive relationships.
- Engage children in enrichment and STEM activities.
- Facilitate group games and outdoor play.
- Participate in classic board games with children.
- Uphold program policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age and of good moral character.
- Ability to react and move quickly, indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to complete 6 hours of training annually.
Nice-to-haves
- Sincere desire and interest in working with children.
- Availability to work some vacation days and non-school days.
