About the position

This job is responsible for entering data in the SAP system; warehouse functions include processing, receiving and issuing supplies, maintaining inventory controls, preparing and reconciling shipping documents.
Responsibilities
- Visibly support and champion Peabody's Mission and Values
- Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
- Inspect work area & identify hazards
- Data entry into SAP for purchasing and inventory (one year minimum of experience preferred)
- Maintain inventory records including tracking receipts, backorders, delivery tickets, etc.
- Have experience in conducting cost analysis studies
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have good communication and telephone skills
- Assist with daily operations by fulfilling assigned tasks
- Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental and statutory requirements
- Other duties as assigned by the company
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED Equivalent required
- One year minimum of experience in data entry into SAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good communication and telephone skills
