About the position

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) at Bealls Florida plays a crucial role in leading a team to enhance the guest experience and ensure operational excellence. This position empowers the ASM to make impactful decisions, manage talent, and drive store performance while fostering a team-oriented culture. The ASM is responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating associates, as well as executing merchandising strategies and maintaining high standards of store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, selecting, and managing a diverse range of associates.
  • Championing credit and loyalty programs to enhance guest experience.
  • Leading store merchandising direction and standards.
  • Executing product flow, inventory management, and store operations functions.
  • Utilizing business reports to guide decisions and maintain high-performance standards.
  • Guiding operational accuracy and workload efficiency.
  • Understanding and using company standard software and systems.
  • Inspiring and motivating the team through feedback and recognition programs.
  • Creating a sense of teamwork and collaboration among associates.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years minimum of management experience preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Zebra PDA, POS Systems, Microsoft Office Programs, and Payroll/Scheduling Software.
