About the position
Toyota of Mt Pleasant, a Sonic Automotive Dealership, is seeking a BDC Service Agent. This position offers a salary of $15 per hour and involves direct communication with customers via phone, email, or in person. The role requires a thorough knowledge of dealership products and services, assisting guests in selecting vehicles, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. The BDC Service Agent will also be responsible for checking emails frequently, responding to inquiries promptly, and maintaining a professional appearance while ensuring a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Communicates effectively with phone customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication.
- Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services.
- Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their needs.
- Checks emails frequently and responds to inquiries immediately.
- Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly.
- Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate person for prompt attention.
- Exhibits a high level of commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Devotes himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to guests.
- Determines management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Attends Sonic meetings as requested.
- Maintains a follow-up system that encourages follow-through with assigned projects.
- Understands the terminology of the business and keeps abreast of technology changes in the product.
- Follows directions from a supervisor.
- Understands and follows work rules and procedures.
- Interacts well with others and is a positive influence on associate morale.
- Signs voluntarily the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement.
