About the position
The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) at Brown-Daub Dealerships plays a crucial role in assisting the sales department by supporting customers in finding the right vehicle. This entry-level position focuses on customer service, communication, and follow-up to ensure a positive experience for potential buyers.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls and establish follow-ups with sales appointments.
- Respond quickly to internet, phone, and live chat inquiries using email, scripts, and templates.
- Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources.
- Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show.
- Participate in team and process development sessions, maintaining positive relationships with teammates, sales teams, and dealership management.
- Utilize CRM tracking system daily.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company dress code.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year in a related field of customer service experience; automotive related experience is a plus.
- Excellent team collaborative attitude and eagerness to work with others.
- Excellent verbal/written, interpersonal, and customer communication skills.
- Bilingual not required, but preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a dealership setting is preferred.
