Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and establish relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advocate for Agile methodologies to tackle challenges and implement change.
  • Comfortably navigate ambiguity and work through undefined paths.
  • Utilize extensive IT expertise to drive novel solutions.
  • Act as change agents to align and onboard teams for new processes and toolsets.
  • Build strong relationships to influence stakeholders.
  • Lead planning platform solution design and deployment, including feasibility studies and platform suitability assessments.
  • Support core planning process redesign and alignment with platform capabilities.
  • Develop functional and non-functional requirements for planning platforms.
  • Lead full lifecycle implementations for Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Merchandising Planning, Financial Planning, and/or Workforce Planning tools.
  • Design and deploy UI/UX and planning platform configurations for various domains.
  • Develop integrated solution architecture designs for Planning Platforms and ensure integration with enterprise systems.
  • Create implementation roadmaps and scope planning platform programs.
  • Provide expert guidance on tooling options and their trade-offs.
  • Lead the creation of client-specific strategic materials and present insights effectively.
  • Manage organizational change for new planning solutions and drive stakeholder engagement.
  • Establish KPIs and value metrics to measure platform success and ensure ROI realization.
  • Facilitate technical and strategic working sessions with client and internal teams.
  • Build relationships with key clients and provide direction to team members.
  • Manage projects and expectations, maintaining control during escalations.
  • Review junior team members' output for quality assurance and promote a positive experience for staff.
  • Assist with business development through proposals and project scoping.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in mathematics, natural sciences, information technology, business management, or relevant field.
  • 8+ years of practical experience leading Planning Platform implementations focusing on Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, SAP IBP, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience in business process design and configuration.
  • Domain knowledge in Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and/or Workforce Planning.
  • Previous management experience in four or more end-to-end Planning platform implementations in a waterfall or agile setting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with senior executives.
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Experience managing decision processes at large organizations.
  • Strong customer and results orientation.
  • Confidence and persuasiveness in interactions.
  • Experience planning and managing medium to large-sized projects.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% based on client and business needs.
