About the position
The BCBA position at Fundamental Development ABA, LLC involves designing and supervising home-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with disabilities. The role emphasizes creating effective treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing training to parents and behavior technicians. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and focuses on making learning enjoyable while ensuring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Design and supervise home ABA programs, including implementing assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Create behavior plans based on functional assessments.
- Develop positive behavior support plans targeting functionally equivalent replacement behaviors.
- Prioritize goals based on parental input and provide ongoing parent training.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that include skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
- Conduct ongoing data analysis to determine program effectiveness and make necessary modifications.
- Implement ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP assessments to develop appropriate programming.
- Supervise behavior technicians by providing ongoing training and mentorship.
- Write initial assessments and reassessment reports detailing the child's background, current functioning, goals, and progress.
Requirements
- BCBA certification in good standing
- Prior experience working in homes
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and patient assessment
- Ability to create and implement behavior plans
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and behavioral health
