About The Position

This is a full-time, W-2 employed position primarily located at the Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL, with potential backup coverage via telehealth to surrounding outpatient centers. The role involves conducting evaluations and assessments, managing medications, participating in treatment team management, overseeing daily patient care, and handling related administrative duties. The hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited facility providing comprehensive mental health services to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members, and veterans.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Master’s level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatry
PMHNP certification is required
Must have an active Florida license or the ability to obtain
Must be willing to see ages 12 and older

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and assessments
