About the position
Baylor Trucking is looking to add motivated and reliable Class A CDL drivers. The position involves driving solo with no touch freight, primarily in a Dry Van drop and hook capacity. Drivers will be expected to work 21 days out followed by 3 days home. Baylor Trucking utilizes refrigerated trailers to serve the healthcare industry, which constitutes roughly 8% of the business. The tractors are fully equipped with amenities such as APU, refrigerators, double bunks, inverters, microwaves, and paid Sirius XM Satellite Radio. The tractor models used are Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia, which are automatic and governed at 70 mph. The company offers a supportive environment with 24-hour dispatch and a dedicated driver manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive solo with no touch freight
- Maintain a driving schedule of 21 days out and 3 days home
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
- Communicate with dispatch and management as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A)
- Must be at least 23 years old
