About the position
The Operations Associate at Bay Club is responsible for enhancing the overall member experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness throughout the club, and supporting various operational roles. This position is designed to develop skills in hospitality and operations, contributing to career growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club
- Check members in by verifying their membership
- Ensure all guests complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay applicable fees
- Book appointments and class reservations for members
- Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities
- Deliver exceptional service to members and guests
- Represent the club professionally through image and communication
- Operate cash register and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels throughout the Club
- Assist with laundry functions including washing and folding towels
- Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
- Participate in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings
Requirements
- At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred
- Food Safety certified (if applicable)
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to utilize club software and email communication software, such as Microsoft Outlook
