About the position
The Bartender position at PopStroke involves mixing drinks and providing excellent customer service in a vibrant mini-golf entertainment setting. The role is part-time and requires working weekends and holidays, focusing on creating memorable experiences for guests while ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the restaurant/bar.
- Share knowledge of the food menu and spirits/beer/wine.
- Assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app.
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders.
- Serve guests with outstanding attention to service and provide a memorable experience.
- Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant and food & beverage areas.
- Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
- Stock ice, glassware, flatware, and supplies.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation ordinances, and with all state liquor laws and regulations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, processing payments and balancing cash drawers.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to correctly use POS system.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Strong team focus.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work in an indoor and outdoor environment.
