About the position

The Bartender/Casino Attendant at Redemption Bar and Casino is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to state laws and guidelines. This part-time role involves working 3-4 days a week, primarily during evening shifts, and includes responsibilities such as preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and taking their drink orders
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Mixing ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails
• Providing recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
• Ensuring the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies along with nightly cleaning duties
• Organizing incoming orders, not limited to beer and alcohol
• Operating cash registers and handling payment transactions and counting back change
• Cashing casino tickets, and keeping casino clean and stocked with supplies
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations and growing customer base

Requirements

• Experience in bartending and serving in a casino environment
• Proficiency in using POS systems, including Heartland Restaurant
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a POS and count change
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures
• Previous experience in a bar setting with a focus on speed, accuracy, and customer service
• TIPS Certified
