Barry Katz Entertainment Internship (Assistant to CEO)*

About the position

Working directly with the CEO of the company (Barry Katz) along with a team of other assistants, on day-to-day tasks relating to our audio and video editing needs on a plethora of projects, comedy talent management clients, development of tv-film productions, executive consulting artists and projects, social media initiatives and content, the subscription based 'Blueprint for Success' program, and the 'Industry Standard' podcasts (guests have included Kevin Hart, Dr. Phil, Caitlyn Jenner, 'Wonder Woman' director Patty Jenkins, David Copperfield, Judd Apatow, Norman Lear, Bill Burr, Chuck Lorre, and Netflix president Ted Sarandos).

Responsibilities

• Assist the CEO with day-to-day tasks
• Manage audio and video editing needs for various projects
• Support comedy talent management clients
• Assist in the development of TV and film productions
• Provide executive consulting for artists and projects
• Contribute to social media initiatives and content creation
• Support the subscription-based 'Blueprint for Success' program
• Assist with the 'Industry Standard' podcasts

Requirements

• Strong interest in the entertainment and comedy business
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in video/audio editing is a plus
• Production experience is valuable
