About The Position

Perform repairs and maintenance to plumbing, electrical, machinery, and other related systems and equipment associated with the track’s barns. Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, and the like. Maintain barns by performing repairs and maintenance to plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities. Physically respond to emergency situations, such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, or any other emergency situation or repair. Perform periodic maintenance to equipment and machinery as outlined in preventative maintenance schedules. Perform work assignments to complete renovation and remodeling projects.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess knowledge in engineering field to accomplish assignments safely and correctly; generally attained through schooling and work experience.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shift.
• Must be skilled in the proper use of hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and effectively communicate by radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
