About the position
As a Starbucks barista, you will create a welcoming and engaging experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted beverages. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer interaction, and maintaining a positive store environment, where you will have the opportunity to master your food and beverage craft while connecting with customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service.
- Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide pleasant communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Adapt to various tasks within the store during each shift.
Requirements
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service or food service environments.
