About The Position

This role involves greeting guests warmly, processing payments accurately, taking and preparing customer orders, and maintaining inventory of supplies. The position requires multitasking, assisting team members, answering customer inquiries, and ensuring cleanliness of equipment. There are two primary descriptions of duties, one for a Barista and one for a Food and Beverage Cashier, both involving customer service, transaction processing, and order fulfillment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of previous experience working as a Cashier
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong cash handling experience
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be flexible to work required department hours

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of previous Barista experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Processes payments, handles all cash and credit transactions
• Takes customer orders, prepares orders and cashes customers out
• Multi-tasks several orders at once
• Assists team members when not busy
• Answers general customer inquiries as needed
• Order and maintain levels of pastries, coffee, tea, and other supplies needed
• Proper cleaning and maintaining of coffee machines and coffee pots
• Knows all table numbers, stations and floor plans
• All other duties as needed
