About the position
Idido's Coffee and Social is seeking knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and professional baristas to join their new team in Washington, DC. This role involves providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality coffee and beverages in a vibrant coffee shop environment. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, catering to individuals with experience in the food service industry, particularly as baristas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with patrons
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies
- Follow health and safety regulations in food preparation and service
Requirements
- Experience in the food service industry is a must
- Preferred experience as a barista for at least 1 year
- Ability to commute to Washington, DC 20011
- Willingness to relocate to Washington, DC 20011 before starting work
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- Experience with point of sale (POS) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
