About The Position

Accenture Consulting professionals advise, design, and implement transformational solutions in specialist functional and industry areas. The Management Consulting Consultant designs and implements business changes that drive industry-specific, function, and digital operating model transformation, focusing on tasks relating to people and process. This role is within the Banking Consulting practice, with a focus on Business and Technology Transformation within the wholesale lending industry. Large wholesale lenders are investing heavily in modernizing their business and technology to optimize straight-through processing, enhance client and employee experience, and reduce cost of ownership within the origination and portfolio monitoring space. Accenture is growing its practice to help clients navigate these transformational journeys. The Commercial Credit Consultant will be focused on supporting the development of lending offerings and the delivery of transformational consulting projects.

Requirements

  • Banking industry experience within business, commercial, or corporate lending segments.
  • Demonstrated business and technology expertise across the end-to-end Wholesale credit lifecycle spanning sales, origination, fulfillment, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Commercial lending platforms expertise (e.g., nCino, Loan IQ, AFS, ACBS).
  • Provides solutions to complex business problems for areas of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
  • Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involve negotiating or influencing significant matters.
  • 2+ years relevant professional services firm experience in technology or management consulting with broad experience in engagement management and business development.
  • Demonstrable experience being part of an nCino project delivery project or consulting engagement.
  • A University degree is required for this position.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language.

Responsibilities

  • Re-imagine world-class operating models for Wholesale credit institutions.
  • Manage Wholesale credit systems implementation for a workstream (e.g., scope, cost, schedule, etc.).
  • Develop next generation Wholesale credit technology offerings.
  • Help define the value of a transformation, and how to measure and track success.
  • Facilitate design thinking and/or customer journey workshops to support development of a transformation roadmap and/or strategy.
  • Manage the definition of the practices, processes, toolsets, and operations for one or more transformation domains.
  • Build strong relationships with clients that extend beyond individual projects, including developing C-suite relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Balance understanding client needs and desires with presenting an informed and convincing perspective in the interests of the client’s business.
  • Drive thought leadership, asset development, and intellectual capital efforts, building a following with similar expertise.
  • Identify and advance ideas for new business opportunities.
  • Drive business development by architecting and developing proposals and SOWs with the support of a Senior Manager.
  • Identify creative and hard-to-find data sources and refine hypothesis through interviews.
